Ages 2-5

A dance studio is a magical place for young dancers. This is a great time for children to express themselves, explore and create through movement.

Preschool Tumbling

Ages 2-5

Dancers will learn basic tumbling skills such as handstands, forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, dive rolls, bridges, strength and flexibility skills.

Preschool Jazz & Ballet

Ages 2-5

An introduction to basic ballet and jazz technique. Introducing terms and positions, focusing on rhythm and choreography that will strengthen their abilities and set their foundation for dance.

Ages 5-9

Classes at this age are designed to help with correct placement of body, feet, head and arms. Correct articulation of techniques and development of music and movement are emphasized.

Jazz I

Ages 6-9

Dancers will learn basic jazz technique focusing on musicality, rhythm and choreography through short combinations taught in weekly classes.

Ballet I

Ages 5-7

An introduction to basic ballet technique including terms, positions and combinations that will strengthen their abilities and set their foundation for dance.

Ballet II

Ages 8-10

Incorporates beginning to intermediate fundamentals of ballet technique and vocabulary in weekly combinations.

Hip Hop I

Ages 8-11

Provides a fun variety of skills and moves while bringing in different styles of beginning hip hop.

Contemporary I

Ages 8-11

This modern dance class mixes jazz technique, lyrical, and classical ballet with innovative new age contemporary tricks and choreography. Contemporary connects the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.

Strength & Flexibility I

Ages 6-9

Conditioning the body and injury prevention work are essential to every dancer’s training. Flexibility & strength classes will help dancers increase their endurance, strength and flexibility. Our dance studio takes injury prevention very seriously.

Turns & Leaps I

Ages 6-9

Turns & Leaps classes will focus on the jazz technique of turns, leaps, jumps and progressions across the floor. Students will also work to increase flexibility, balance and core strength through across the floor and center combinations and drills.

Jazz Technique I

Ages 6-9

This class will focus on improving technique through weekly combinations of various movements improving the dancers precision and strength.

Beginning Cheer

Ages 5-10
This class is an introduction to cheerleading. The class will cover basic pom movement, basic tumbling and basic stunting.

Ages 9-12

Classes at this age are designed to progress the students to more advanced work and the technical requirements become more specific.

Jazz II

Ages 8-10

Incorporates the beginning to intermediate fundamentals of jazz technique and vocabulary in weekly combinations.

Ballet II

Ages 8-10

Incorporates beginning to intermediate fundamentals of ballet technique and vocabulary in weekly combinations.

Ballet III

Ages 11-13

Incorporates intermediate to advanced fundamentals of ballet technique and vocabulary in weekly combinations.

Hip Hop I

Ages 8-11

Provides a fun variety of skills and moves while bringing in different styles of beginning hip hop.

Hip Hop II

Ages 12+

Provides a fun variety of skills and moves while bringing in different styles of intermediate hip hop.

This class is intended to for members of local drill teams. It is a weekly class to continue to work on technique and work on any special movements in your routines.

Drill Team Prep

Ages 12+

This class will help you prepare for the various styles and different techniques required to be on high school drill teams.

Acro

Acro is the art of executing acrobatic movements such as somersaults, twists, handsprings, or rolls on floor mats. In our classes, we will be instructing and guiding your child through the steps of completely different moves.

Preschool Tumbling

Ages 3-5

Tumbling I

Prerequisite: Bridge with head off the floor

Dancers will learn bridge walks, handstand to bridge, handstand forward rolls, cartwheels, dive rolls, handstands, bridge from standing, round off, kick over off cheese mat.

Tumbling II

Prerequisite: Kick over off the cheese mat with straight legs

Dancers will learn bridge walks, handstand forward rolls, cartwheels, dive rolls, handstands, bridge from standing, round off, bridge pull up, kick over off floor, inside outs, back walkovers.

Tumbling III

Prerequisite: Back walkover, Bridge pull up

Dancers will learn back walkover, leg extension walkover, front walkover, round off, standing back handspring on cheese mat, bridge kick over chest roll, fish flop, front chest roll to bridge, inside out from knees, moon walkover, valdez, combination passes.

Tumbling IV / V

Prerequisite: Back handspring on cheese mat, back and front walkovers with proper technique

Tumbling IV: Dancers will learn back walkover to chest roll, front arabian limber, back arabian limber, spider, head spring knees, back handspring, round off back handspring, front walkover with leg balance, back walkover with arabesque, one handed walkover, standing side aerial, cartwheel step in back handspring step out, front aerial, back handspring chest roll, fish flop to chin stand.

Tumbling V: Dancers will learn back handspring chest roll, front arabian limber, back arabian limber, spider (multiples), head spring, back handspring, round off back handspring, front walkover with leg balance, back walkover with arabesque, one handed walkover, standing side aerial, cartwheel step in back handspring step out, front aerial, front whip, rubber band, arch aerial, arabian walkover from knees, fish flop to chin stand, tuck, round off tuck/layout, cartwheel step in back handspring, strength and flexibility skills.

Drill Team Acro

Ages 13+

This class is intended for members of local drill teams. It is a weekly class to work on and improve any tricks or acro movements you have in your routines.
